Common Ground Lockdown Response

Mission Australia’s Common Ground block in Camperdown has been placed into lockdown from 8am on Thursday 2 September for 14 days until Wednesday 15 September after four tenants tested positive to COVID-19. A number of concerns have been raised about this lockdown and Jamie Parker MP, the member for Balmain that covers Common Ground and Jenny Leong MP, the NSW Greens portfolio holder for Housing and Homelessness have written to Nada Nasser, State Director of Mission Australia to raise these matters. 

We will continue to support Jamie's work to ensure that tenants are provided adequate support and assistance through this process.
