Every Saturday until the election on March 28, the Jenny Leong for Newtown campaign will be door knocking residents within the new state electorate of Newtown. Door knocking is a great way to engage with the community about the campaign and local issues, and encourage them to vote Green.
If you have never door knocked before - don't be nervous! There is a quick briefing before we head out, and we door knock in pairs. If you are new, you will always be partnered with someone who is experienced. Our volunteers have said that door knocking is an easy, fun and rewarding way of contributing to the campaign.
With the election just around the corner we need you now more than ever. Bring yourself, bring your friends, and bring a smile. Together we can make the Newtown Electorate Green right from the start.
