Jenny Leong MP gave a Notice of Motion raising questions about the redevelopment of public housing in Eveleigh and calling for improved and increased public, social and affordable housing on public land.
NOTICE:
That this House:
- Questions why the Government is planning to pull down Explorer Street public housing in Eveleigh and privatise 70 percent of this publicly owned land.

Rejects the Communities Plus Formula which is based on a cost neutral formula which does not invest real funds into the provision of social housing.

Calls on the Government to maintain, improve and increase public, social and affordable housing on public land without privatising any part of publicly owned land or property.
