Scrap the Public Sector Wage Cap

Our public sector workers – which include nurses, midwives, health workers, paramedics, teachers, transport and frontline workers who all work tirelessly – deserve more than thanks.
They’ve been on the frontline of crisis after crisis, keeping our communities safe, connected, and running.
But the Liberal National Government’s cruel public sector wage freeze means as the cost of living and inflation rises public sector wages are going backwards - despite giving pay rises to their political mates.
It's time to scrap the public sector wage cap and ensure our teachers, nurses, paramedics, transport and public sector workers have a fair wage that will, at the very least, keep up with the cost of living.
The Greens will always support fair pay, better conditions, and proper resourcing so public sector workers can do their job safely.
Sign now to scrap the wage cap!
Tell the Premier to scrap the public sector wage cap, and give public sector workers the pay, conditions and resources they need to do their job.
