Jenny Leong speaks on National Sorry Day

That this House:

(1) Acknowledges that 26 March is National Sorry Day, a day to mark the ongoing trauma, grief, and colonial harm caused by the Stolen Generations.

(2) Recognises that the Stolen Generation is not over, and First Nations children continue to be forcibly removed from their families, their communities, and their culture.

(3) Calls on this Parliament to acknowledge that 'sorry' is supposed to mean you don't do it again.
